Hi Franz - my apologies for answering in English. The strap is definitely not old. AFAIK it comes as standard on the Suunto SK6 compass. I believe I may have a spare one somewhere; also easy to get them online from places like this http://www.subprof.com/tienda/product_i ... ts_id=5661 or order at a local Suunto dealer.

As far as the housing is concerned, it's hard to say but it seems like a DDR/CCCP piece similar to the Γ-5 gauge. It may even be a DIY job.
