My specific interest is the parallel evolution of dive gear between the East and West Germany so I've been collecting and studying Dräger and MEDI/MLW for a while. Nothing too exotic I guess, except perhaps my MEDI Nixe and Dräger Mod. 138 oxygen rebreathers. I also own a few DDR and West German cameras including a Rolleimarin plus other "dust collectors" as my wife calls them
The largest piece in my collection is a complete three bolt Russian helmet including full standard dress, ready to dive. Sadly there's been no chance to take it underwater yet

als Kreiselbastler kennt man "natürlich" die verschiedensten Kreationen, auch diese. Aber sich persönlich, außer über diversem Mailverkehr und seiner scheinbar mittlerweile abgeschalteten Website, nicht. Ausgerechnet dieses Jahr klappt es bei mir nicht, schade.

I'm very glad to have found this place. Thanks for admitting me to the forum and I look forward to meeting many of you in June. In the meantime, I'll work on restoring those old web pages for anyone interested to see a few homebuilt RBs and old dive gear.
